DescriptionGlabrous, glaucous; stem simple or branched; leaves oblong-cuneate, narrowed into a winged stalk, coarsely toothed to pinnatifid, reduced upward; heads solitary, with stalk thickened upward; involucral bracts ovate, glaucous, with broad, pale- brown, scarious margin; ray flowers and disk flowers golden yellow; pappus lacking.
EcologyOccasionally introduced weed at Kiska. Described from Europe.
