Description | White-tomentose; stems several, simple or branched above, from woody, branch- ing caudex with rosettes of entire, lanceolate leaves; basal stem leaves short-petio- lated, 3-toothed to lobed, green and sparsely pubescent above, white-tomentose beneath; inflorescence racemiform; heads nodding; involucral bracts oblong-lanceo- late, with broad, erose, brown, scarious margin; marginal flowers pistillate, disk flowers bisexual, glandular-dotted. | ||
