Description | Stem mostly simple, from branching rhizome, glandular-puberulent to pilose; basal leaves long-petiolated, ovate to orbicular, subcordate, with broad, shallow sinus, dentate; cauline leaves ovate to lanceolate in 2-3 pairs, the lower long- petiolated, the upper small, reduced; heads large, 1 to several; involucral bracts lanceolate or oblanceolate, acute, pilose at base, glandular; ligules 20-28 mm long, yellow; tube of disk flowers pilose; achenes evenly hirsute and often stipitate, glandular; pappus white, barbellate. | ||
