DescriptionStem single, from horizontal rhizome, lanate-villous at base, glandular above; cauline leaves in 2—4 pairs, reduced upward, the lowermost short-petiolated, lan- ceolate, denticulate or entire, sparingly villous; heads several, nodding in bud, dis- coid; involucral bracts sharply acute or acuminate; pappus tawny, barbellate to subplumose.
