Description | Stem from thick caudex; leaves few, large, glabrous or pubescent on veins, reni- form, grossly dentate to shallowly lobed, shiny above, pale below, the upper re- duced; inflorescence branched with few erect branches; heads nodding; involucrum cylindrical, with 4-5 oblong to lanceolate bracts, as long as young flowers; flowers 4-7; pappus long, white. | ||
