DescriptionStem single, tall, villous-pubescent above, from taproot; leaves sagittate or has- tate, irregularly toothed, the upper reduced; inflorescence corymbiform, more or less open; involucral bracts about 8, lanceolate, thinly grayish-pubescent; ligules white to purplish, laciniate, dentate at apex; styles long-exserted, dark; pappus sordid.
EcologyMoist places, along streams. Described from the northwest coast of North Amer- ica.
