DescriptionLeaves 2.5-5 cm long, green, slender, with fine-pointed tip and wide membranous border at base; stomata numerous; ligules triangular, a little longer than wide; velum covering half the sporangium or less; gynospores with thick, blunt spines, sometimes confluent into toothed ridges; androspores chiefly papillose.
EcologyShallow water.
