DescriptionLeaves 6-13 cm long, stout, rigid, with almost setaceous apex and wide mem- branaceous margin at base; stomata numerous; ligules short, triangular; velum cover- ing one-fourth to one-half of sporangium; gynospores thickly covered with truncate columns or blunt spines; androspores papillate.
EcologyShallow water.
