DescriptionStem rooting at lower nodes, freely and widely branching, stiffly featherlike, closely invested by sheathing; stipules whitish; leaves auriculate at base, many- nerved, with thin, cartilaginous, minutely serrated margin; spike stiff, interrupted,; fruit prominently keeled, with beak 1 mm long.
EcologyMuddy water. Only sterile specimens known from area of interest. Collected only once, at Summit.
