DescriptionSimilar to D. caespitosa, but low-growing; panicle contracted, oblong or ovate, with short, upright branches bearing spikelets close to base; leaves of basal tuft short, narrow; blade of stem leaf very short.
EcologyWet places in tundra, riverbanks, solifluction soil.
