DescriptionCaespitose; culms up to 60 cm tall; leaves 1-2 mm wide; panicle contracted, open in age, with long, capillary, scabrous branches; spikelets elongate, 6-8-flowered; glumes ovate; lemma obovate to broadly rounded, obtuse with obscure nerves, ciliolate, more or less pilose at base; anthers 0.5-0.6 mm long.
