DescriptionDensely caespitose; leaves flat, in dry specimens involute, as long as or shorter than culms; sheaths with broad, scarious margin, auricles much longer than broad; lower bracts longer than cyme; cyme compact or loose; sepals light brown, lan- ceolate, highly acute, much longer than the retuse capsule; anthers much shorter than filaments.
