DescriptionStem tall, slender, leafy, from fleshy, rootlike tuberoids; the lower leaves oblan- ceolate, obtuse, gradually diminishing upward, the upper lanceolate; spike slender, lax, long, many-flowered; flowers green, tinged with purplish-brown; lip linear or oblong-linear, often dark-colored, longer than spur; spur obtuse, saccate, purplish.
EcologyHabitat uncertain; probably wet meadows.
