DescriptionCreeping, with slender, forking rootstock; scape pale green, finely pubescent above; leaves in basal rosette, their veins bordered with pale tissue, lacking chloro- phyll (var. ophioides); raceme 1-sided, lax; flowers yellowish-white; lip inflated, entire, with recurved tip.
EcologyMossy woods. Described from Europe, Siberia. Circumpolar map gives range of entire species complex.
