DescriptionPlant yellowish-green; stem slender, quadrangular, ascending, usually glabrous or slightly scabrous; leaves sessile, linear, glabrous, minutely scabrous in margin, broadest at middle; cymes with scarious bracts, terminal or lateral, open; sepals lanceolate, acute, glabrous; petals about as long as sepals or slightly longer; cap- sules pale; seeds smooth.
