DescriptionStem simple, erect, 1-flowered, with withered leaves at base, from thick root- stock with numerous dark-brown roots; leaves 3—5-parted, with lobed and dentated parts; flowers up to 3 cm in diameter; sepals orange-yellow; petals 5-7 mm long, about as long as stamens; follicles about 10 mm long (the 3-mm-long beak in- cluded), congested into a head.
EcologyMoist meadows. Described from Kamchatka.
