DescriptionUpper part of root bulblike; stem glabrous below, pubescent above; up to 70 cm tall; basal leaves divided to base into many-cleft, acute, linear or lanceolate seg- ments; upper leaves reduced, merely lobed; inflorescence at first terminal, capitate, later prolonged, with longer pedicels; flowers pubescent, grayish-blue; hood nearly beakless.
EcologySubalpine thickets and meadows.
UsesRoot very poisonous.
