DescriptionLoosely tufted; basal leaves oblong, entire or somewhat dentate, canescent with small, dense, stellate or forking hairs; stem pubescent from small, stellate or forked hairs, with 1 to several densely pubescent leaves; inflorescence much elongated in fruit; petals white; silicles elliptic or ovate, the upper usually longer than pedicels, densely pubescent with small, stellate hairs.
EcologyDry places in the mountains and on tundra, scree slopes.
