DescriptionSimilar to B. purpurascens, but green; leaves, scapes, pedicels and siliques sparsely pubescent with simple and forked, gray hairs; inflorescence capitate in flower, much elongated in fruit; flowers large; style 1.2-1.5 mm long.
EcologySolifluction soil; gravel bars in rivers. Flowers very early, close to melting snow or ice.
