DescriptionAnnual or biennial with slender taproot; stems glandular-puberulent and hirsute, mostly single, erect, with ascending branches; leaves mostly cauline, hirsute, with 3—4 obovate to oblanceolate, coarsely toothed, coarsely crenate-serrate leaflets; calyx glandular-puberulent and hirsute; bractlets lanceolate, shorter than calyx lobes; calyx lobes erect, ovate-triangular; petals yellow, cuneate-obovate, about half as long as sepals; style terminal, thickened at base; achenes yellow.
EcologyWaste places; once found introduced at Dawson. Described from California.
