DescriptionMostly with divaricate branches; leaves strigose, 5-parted, segments cuneate- obovate, cleft into acute, oblong lobes; sepals ovate-lanceolate, awn-tipped, hirsute and glandular on veins; petals pale purple, slightly longer than calyx; carpels long- haired, with long, pubescent beak.
EcologyWoods, disturbed soil. Described from Nova Scotia, Maine, western Ontario, and New York.
