DescriptionMatted; stem much branched, in lower part covered with remains of leaves or leaf bases; leaves linear-lanceolate, acuminate, ciliate, more or less pubescent with viscid, septate hairs; flowers 1 or 2 at tops of branches; pedicels and calyx viscid- pubescent, cleft to base with linear-lanceolate lobes; tube of corolla as long as calyx, the lobes bluish violet, broad, rounded.
EcologyCalcareous rocks in the mountains, to at least 2,000 meters. Described from northern Asia.
