DescriptionStem branched and glandular above; leaves entire, the lower opposite, spatulate to oblanceolate, short-petiolated, the upper alternate, lanceolate, sessile; flowers small, white to purplish-pink, usually in pairs in upper axils; calyx lobes acute; corolla with slender tube and ovate to obcordate lobes; stamens shorter than corolla; capsule globose to ovoid.
EcologyAn occasionally introduced weed. Described from western North America.
