DescriptionStem hispid, branched above; leaves linear-lanceolate to lanceolate, obtuse, the upper sessile, more or less densely pubescent; bracts long, linear; pedicels erect in fruit; calyx with long, blunt lobes, prolonged in fruit; corolla blue with ovate to rounded lobes, about 3 mm broad; nutlets tuberculate on back with 2 rows of slender, distinct prickles in margin or with prickles irregularly distributed on back.
EcologyWaste places; an introduced weed. Type locality not given, presumably Europe.
