DescriptionStems several, slender, often purplish, finely retrorse-pubescent, villous above; leaves linear to linear-lanceolate, attenuate to caudate, entire, the uppermost some- times with a few linear lobes; bracts ovate to lanceolate, with a pair of short lateral lobes, violet-purple; calyx violet-purple-hirsute, the upper lip green with violet margins, the lower purple, half as long as the upper.
