DescriptionCaudex subligneous, forked; stems solitary or clustered, purplish or yellowish, glandular-puberulent to villous, with few remote bracts; pedicels axillary, naked; calyx with 5 triangular, acute lobes equal to or shorter than tube; corolla purple or yellowish, with rounded or acute lobes.
EcologyParasitic on Artemisia. Described from Fort Mandan (on the Missouri River).
