DescriptionSimilar to E. lonchophyllus, but cauline leaves broader; peduncles (in specimens with more than 1 head) more or less spreading; inner involucral bracts long- attenuate, more or less caudate; tubular pistillate flowers present between the ligulate marginal and the perfect central flowers.
EcologyMossy bogs. Described from mountains of British Columbia.
