DescriptionCaespitose; stem simple, soft-pubescent from branched caudex; leaves linear, somewhat acute, more or less pubescent, mostly basal; heads solitary; involucral bracts white-pubescent, with broad, dark-brown, scarious margin; ray flowers long, white, 3-toothed; disk flowers yellow; achenes glabrous.
EcologyGravel, solifluction soil, rocky slopes. Type locality “on the Copper Mountains.”
