DescriptionStems simple, from coarse rhizome, nearly glabrous below, glandular and pu- berulent above; leaves pale green, in 3 pairs, the middle pair largest, ovate to ellip- tic, truncate or subcordate at base, obtuse, irregularly serrate-dentate, short stipitate- glandular above, glabrous beneath; heads 3-5; involucral bracts lanceolate, acute, stipitate-glandular; ligules 18-20 mm long, pale yellow; disk flowers short-pilose; pappus stramineous to tawny, subplumose.
