DescriptionLeaves with purplish petioles and short, retrorse, acute, more or less approximate lateral lobes, the apical lobe triangular, acute; involucrum campanulate; involucral bracts dark, lacking horns, the outer small, acute; marginal ligules yellow, grayish- green beneath; achenes brown, 3.5-4 mm long, tuberculate and short-spinulose above, rugulose in middle, smooth at base, with beak 5.5-6 mm long.
EcologyAlplne slopes, tundra.
